The City Council delayed action for one week on Tuesday night on a comprehensive resolution on regulations for short term vacation rentals.
Councilwoman Carol Berz said most of the policy appears to have been worked out. However, she said the city attorney's office still needs to do more work on the enforcement section.
The panel also delayed for a week action on a resolution that would allow beer in movie theaters.
It was noted that the sponsor, Councilman Larry Grohn, was absent.
Councilman Grohn said the measure was requested by the manager of Regal Theater in his district.
Councilman Ken Smith asked for a delay on a request for a special exceptions permit for a late night entertainment facility at 1966 Northpoint Blvd., Suite 126. He said he had only recently learned of the request and wanted to look into it further.
The site is next to Goodwill Industries near Northgate Mall.
