Sip, Savor And Swirl At Three Blind Wines Nov. 18

  • Wednesday, October 19, 2016

Sip, Savor and Swirl at Three Blind Wines, presented by Feed Co. Table & Tavern, will be held Friday, Nov. 18, 6 p.m. at Stratton Hall, 3146 Broad St.

The annual wine event, now in its eighth year, is expected to bring more than 400 charity minded attendees, and to raise an estimated $65,000 to support the mission of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, to assure the development of the means to cure cystic fibrosis.  Feed Co. Table & Tavern is this year’s presenting sponsor for the event.

“We could not do the important work of finding a cure without community partners," said Co-chair Ginger Birnhaum.  "For the first time since the inception of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in 1955, we can finally say that over half of the CF population is over the age of 18.  This simply would not be the case without well managed and well-funded research.  I cannot overstate how grateful we are to partners like Feed Co. Table & Tavern for such a generous investment."

Chattanooga pediatrician, Dr. Stephanie Stegall will serve as honorary chair of the 2016 Three Blind Wines event.

“What an exciting time to be involved with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation!” Dr. Stegall said on being asked to serve as honorary chair for this year’s event. “It is astounding to see the research that is rapidly progressing to a cure and what an honor it is to be part of such a great team.”

From wine novices to fine wine aficionados, Three Blind Wines gives all guests the opportunity to taste different brands of wine while benefiting a great cause.  Guests will have the opportunity to compete and vote in the “blind wine” contest.  The individual with the most popular wine will take home a cellar full of wine.

Featured at the wine event is a silent auction and reception at 6 p.m., including an open bar with wine, vodka and beer.  The reception is followed by food from Swiss Am Catering, a premier live auction, entertainment by Slim Pickins, and new this year – a whiskey tasting.

VIP tickets are also available and built to offer reserved seating since this is a very limited seating event. This year "Everyone's a Winner" in VIP with treats and prizes throughout the evening, as well as VIP bar access.
