Hershel LeVoyd Hale, 74, of the Nine Mile Community passed away Tuesday October 18, 2016.
He was preceded in death by his parents Casto and Lora Hale; and sisters, Velma Moses, Edna Dillard, and Wanda Wallace.
He is survived by his brother Robert (Holly) Hale, Pikeville, TN; two sisters Geneva (Bill) Hedgecoth, Spencer, TN, Elsie Hedgecoth, Pikeville; special nephew Ricky Hedgecoth; special cousins Charlene West, Rainy (Biff), Jarrett, Jordan and Jaden Sapp, Pikeville; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
A celebration of Hershel's life will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. CDT at Shady Vale Church of God with Rev. Donnie Lawson officiating. Burial is in McDowell Cemetery.
