Dr. Horace Traylor Speaks At Ruby Hurley Image Awards Banquet

The 29th Annual Ruby Hurley Image Awards Banquet, Black Power Reloaded Through the Vote, will be held Nov. 3 at Stratton Hall.

The guest speaker will be Dr. Horace J. Traylor of Miami, Fla.  Dr. Traylor is a civil rights activist who marched, rallied and protested with Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and James R. Mapp in Chattanooga.  He was president of the first black college in Chattanooga - Zion College. 

There will be a social hour from 5-6 p.m. and the awards banquet will be from 6-8 p.m. Dress is business and evening attire.
