Ardie Moore
Ardie Deene Moore, 71, of Rossville, Georgia, died on Saturday, October 22, 2016, after a long battle with prostate cancer. He was surrounded by his family of whom he was so proud.
Ardie was born in Hagerstown, Md., on Jan. 2, 1945. He was a loving husband, father and granddaddy. He loved fishing, football, the beach, studying the weather, stock marketing, and most of all, his family. He graduated from East Ridge High School and later attended Middle Tennessee University, receiving a bachelor’s degree. He retired from Unum Provident Insurance Company, serving as an associate underwriter.
He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Harold Moore.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sandra Moore; sons, Eric (Kim) Moore and Shawn (Tina) Moore; grandchildren, Kalyb Holland, Hailee Moore and Nicholas Moore, and his mother, Florence Moore.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 25, at Tennessee/Georgia Memorial Park with Reverend Joel Germany officiating.

The family will receive friends on Monday, Oct. 24, from 4-8 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
