Andrew GavinGardner, 20, of Dunlap, Tennessee, died Saturday morning, October 22, 2016.
Gavin loved cars and skateboarding, had a free spirit, never met a stranger and always had a smile on his face and a prank up his sleeve. He graduated from Sequatchie County High School in the class of 2015. He was the first male state qualifier in Sequatchie County High School Wrestling Team.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Betty Jo Edwards, Clinton Penny, David Mellott and Thomas Hixson; and cousin, Duke Penny.
Survivors include "Liz" Johnson, the love of his life; mother and step-father, Tracie and Justin Nave, Dunlap; father and step-mother, Gabriel and Davina Gardner, Chattanooga; sister, Sadie Jo Nave, Dunlap; step-sisters, Audrey Dizer and Addison Reasons; grandparents, Linda (Luke) Daniels, Tad (Pam) Gardner and Carol Rawlston Hixson; great-grandmother, Sylvia Gardner; aunts, Sandy Roeser, number zero, Janice (Wayne) Roach, Lisa Hayes, Jennifer (Marcus) Hake, Amy (Josh) Holloway, Mandy (Michael) Davenport, Sarah Roach, Megan (Taylor) Eubank, Mego (Tommy) Torbert and Kathy (Doug) Stier; uncles, James (Sandy) Downer, Michael (Jeana) Roeser, Matthew (Michele) Gardner, Michael Gardner and Warren (Shelia) Rawlston, cousins, Megan, Trent, T.J., Chase, Saylor, Taylor, Gracie, Ramie, Makai, Payson, Clara Beth, Jaxon, Kristin, Brent, Kortney, Dillon, Audra, Eli, Bella Kate, Maddie, Grace Ann, Will, Matthew, Greg, Jeremy, Andy, Kathy, Jimmy, Rebecca, Stephen, Michael, David and Janet; and numerous friends.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. CDT Thursday, Oct. 27 in Ewton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Doug Silvers officiating. Burial to follow at Hamilton County Memorial Park.
Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. CDT Wednesday, Oct. 26.
