Leo Eugene Carey, 93, of Ringgold, Georgia, passed away quietly on October 15, 2016 with his wife, Patricia Yvonne (Wyatt) Carey by his side.
Leo was born in Renton, WA on Feb. 4, 1923. Leo retired from the US Air Force after 20 years of service. After retirement, he relocated his family to northern California, where he spent the next 30 years working in the automotive industry. He then moved to north Georgia, spending his final years located in both Walker and Catoosa Counties.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Leo Carey, Jr. of Oregon, Michael Carey, Dennis Carey and Don Carey all of California; daughters, Linda O’Dell of Colorado and Jamie Williams of Georgia; eight grandchildren; and multiple great-grandchildren.
Leo will be inurned at Chattanooga National Cemetery with full military honors on Monday, Nov. 7 at 10:30 a.m.
