Southern Charms Jewelry Opening New Store In Hixson

  • Wednesday, October 26, 2016

Southern Charms Jewelry by Kim will be opening a new store in Hixson offering Paparazzi Jewelry and Accessories in a French Provincial style atmosphere.  It is the first store of its kind to open in the Chattanooga area.  The new store will be in the Valley Brook Shopping Center at 6401 Hixson Pike.  Grand Opening is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 1.

“While other direct sales jewelry companies such as Silpada, Lia Sophia and Cookie Lee have been closing their doors, Paparazzi continues to grow and thrive. By offering new pieces almost daily, customers can always keep up with the latest trends at a price point they can afford. Southern Charms Jewelry’s store opening in Chattanooga is very exciting as it will expose more customers to the brand,” said Angela Small, executive producer with Paparazzi.

Kim Curtain, owner and sole proprietor of Southern Charms Jewelry by Kim, formerly worked for EPB of Chattanooga for nine years as a Business Analyst and Software Developer.  In January of this year, she became a Paparazzi consultant and within three weeks of doing so, quit her full-time job to be able to stay at home with her two-year-old daughter and launch her career with Paparazzi.  She has since built a team under her of 63 women, serving as a role model while offering them encouragement to feel empowered and self-confident.

The new storefront will offer ladies a comfortable and attractive atmosphere in which to shop for affordable jewelry.  The walls are decorated with quotes designed to inspire women to live their dreams.

Paparazzi's mission statement is "To bring strength, independence and empowerment to individuals and their families by building confidence and financial freedom through affordable fashion.  While $5 jewelry may not change the world, we believe those who wear it will."
