Involved In Animal Rescue And The Forgotten Child Fund

Mary Lynn Willhoit, 63, of Chattanooga, died on Monday, October 24, 2016.

Mary was born and raised in Chattanooga. She was a graduate of East Ridge High School Class of 1971 and Baroness Erlanger School of Nursing. She was a member of Grace Christian Center and was involved in animal rescue and the Forgotten Child Fund.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Frances Stevenson; and sister, Martha Stevenson Hale.

Surviving is her son, Jeremy Willhoit; sisters, Carol Stevenson (Gwin) Goodwin and Jamye Stevenson (Daniel) Dugan; close family friend, Bristol May; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and her fur babies.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29, at Grace Christian Center, 109 Jordan Drive, Chattanooga, Tn. 37421, with Pastor Dayle King officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hamilton County Humane Society, 212 N. Highland Park Ave., Chattanooga, Tn. 37404, or The Forgotten Child Fund, 3000 Alton Park Blvd., Chattanooga, Tn. 37410.
