James Allen Brown, 56, of Benton, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at his home.
He was born on Jan. 12, 1960 to the late Fred and Laura Brown. James was a lifelong resident of this area. He loved to hunt and work on cars, especially Chevrolets.
In addition to his mother and father, he was preceded in death by his brother Stan Brown; and two sisters Freda “Duck” Stinnett and Nancy Brown.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Tamela Brown.
A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday Oct. 29, at Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown RD NW, Cleveland, TN 37311. Interment will follow the service in Benton Station Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home on Friday Oct. 28.
