Golfers competing in last year’s Golf Classic
Golfers of all levels will participate in the annual Chattanooga Ronald McDonald House Charities Verizon Wireless Golf Classic on Monday, Oct. 24 at Black Creek Golf Club.
Participants may register as an individual at $350 or as a four player team at $1,300 at rmhchattanooga.com. Deadline to register is Monday, Oct. 17. All proceeds will go to the Ronald McDonald House, a home away from home for sick children.
Contests will be held throughout the tournament for closest-to-the-pin and putting. Kyle Blakely, eight-time RE/MAX World Long Drive Championship finalist from Charity Golf International will be present at par 5 hole for a chance to win a Pebble Beach trip or tickets to the Masters, should the player hole out from Mr. Blakely’s drive from the fairway. The hole-in-one grand prize is a 2015 Ford F150 Lariat, 4x4 Supercrew from Mountain View Ford. Awards will also be given to first and second place in each flight. The best overall team of the day will be awarded the RMHC Kaylor Cup.
There will be morning and afternoon shotgun starts.
Schedule:
8 a.m. - Morning flight registration and breakfast
9 a.m. - Shotgun start
Noon - Afternoon flight registration and Lunch
2 p.m. - Shotgun start
6 p.m. - Awards Ceremony with hors d'oeuvres
