Visitation Will Be On Friday For Todd Royval, Former Chattanooga Police Street Crimes Director

Visitation for Todd Royval, former Chattanooga Police Street Crimes director, will be on Friday. Mr. Royval died on Monday.

Mr. Royval began his career as a Chattanooga Police officer in 1995, working in College Hill Courts and the DUI Task Force. He was a member of the SWAT team, and was the LT over the Violence Reduction Initiative before retiring in January of 2015.

He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Rebecca, two sons, Clay and Jacob, brothers, Mike (Monica) Royval, Toni Gallo, Anthony (Christianne) Maldonado, sister, Natalie (Alex) Pardo, and many nieces and nephews.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, that donations be made in memory of Todd to: Tennessee Public Safety Network, P.O. Box 2526 Cookeville, TN 38502-2526, which facilitates critical incident benefits for law enforcement and first responders across the entire state of TN, they are a non-profit organization.

Family will receive friends on Friday, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, 7454 E. Brainerd Road.
