Dawn Elizabeth Curd Alexander, 43 of Catoosa County, died on October 30, 2016.

Dawn was a graduate of East Ridge High School, attended UTC, a resident of Whitfield County and worked as a special education teacher at Northwest Whitfield High School, and she attended Christ Way Baptist Church in Ooltewah. Dawn was born April 23, 1973.

She is survived by her parents, Fred and Reva Curd. She leaves five beautiful children to cherish her memory: Faith, Star, Skye, Hope and Robert Jr. Alexander; three brothers, Steve, David and Richard Curd, several nieces and nephews. Dawn will truly be missed and was loved by all.

Services will be on Friday, Nov. 4, at 11 a.m. in the Turner Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Lakewood South Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, Nov. 3, from 4–8 p.m. at the Turner Funeral Home Chapel.
