Barry's Battery, The Lookout Artillery, presented by David Scott

Chattanooga Public Library, 1001 Broad St., Chattanooga

Presentation based upon the book by the late Raymond Evans, with additional research by David Scott. Mr. Scott will recount the history of the formation and the battles fought by the Lookout Artillery. In Chattanooga early in 1862 Robert L. Barry, John A. Armstrong, and Richard L. Watkins recruited 113 men and organized this Confederate battery of light artillery.
