The global day dedicated to giving back, #GivingTuesday, will be held Tuesday, Nov. 29. Sculpture Fields will join charities, families, businesses, community centers and students around the world for one common purpose: to celebrate generosity and give.
Causeway, United Way of Greater Chattanooga and The Community Foundation of Greater Chattanooga are teaming up to harness the power of #GivingTuesday locally.
Sculpture Fields is helping transform the Southside and is making a noticeable difference in the entire community, said officials. The 33-acre international sculpture park includes 32 monumental-scale sculptures, 1.5 miles of walking paths, 100 trees in its Commemorative Forest. The park also hosts school tours and weekend events such as artist demonstrations, yoga, kite flying demonstrations, music and dance performances.
“Please donate to Sculpture Fields on Giving Tuesday so we can continue the programming that enriches the local and regional arts and education community at all levels,” said Cathy Clifford, executive director of Sculpture Fields.
