The Chattanooga law firm of Evans Harrison Hackett, PLLC announces that William R. “Bill” Hannah has joined the firm as a member.
Mr. Hannah graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 1994 and obtained his undergraduate degree from Millsaps College in 1991, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Mr. Hannah is a Chattanooga native and has practiced law in Chattanooga since 1994.
He represents parties in state and federal trial and appellate courts in connection with disputes involving commercial, business and creditors’ rights, disputes involving product liability, personal injury and wrongful death claims, and disputes involving employment, insurance coverage and claims, construction, transportation, and professional liability issues. He also represents business and licensed professionals before administrative boards and regulatory entities. He also represents attorneys and law firms in connection with professional responsibility, professional liability, and legal ethics and best practices. He is active in bar association committees and attorney organizations addressing legal ethics, professional responsibility, professionalism in the practice of law, and issues relating to the unauthorized practice of law.
Mr. Hannah is a former president of and is a master of the Bench with the Brock-Cooper Chapter of the American Inns of Court. He is listed in Best Lawyers in America in the area of insurance litigation, and holds an “AV-Preeminent” peer review rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
He is licensed to practice law in Tennessee, Georgia, and Mississippi. He is a 2008 graduate of the Tennessee Bar Association’s Leadership Law program.
