The City Council will meet early next Tuesday so commissioners and staff can keep up with the presidential election and other key races.
Councilman Ken Smith made the motion to change the meeting from 6 p.m. to 4 p.m.
It was unanimously approved.
Councilman Smith said he is "a political junkie" who did not want to miss any coverage of the "historic national election."
