  • Sunday, November 20, 2016

Scores of UTC students will line up down Cardiac Hill on campus to symbolically pass turkeys to Chattanooga Area Food Bank trucks to be donated to local hungry families. The event will take place on Monday, at 4 p.m. at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, 615 McCallie Ave., Cardiac Hill- the North dead end of Campus Drive.

UTC students from various organizations and departments will join together on Cardiac Hill for this event put on by the University’s Freshman Senate, a branch of Student Government Association.

Students have donated money for two weeks to purchase each turkey that will be passed up the hill to the Chattanooga Area Food Bank’s truck.

The UTC’s Freshman Senate is working to involve fellow students in the city and community service to aid its citizens.
