  • Tuesday, November 22, 2016

The Dalton Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying a woman who stole a toy spy drone from a Dalton convenience store last week.

The theft happened shortly after 10 p.m. on Nov. 14, at the Mapco store at 2000 Chattanooga Road. A white woman with dark hair wearing a dark jacket, pink shirt, and pink bandana in her hair entered the store several times making transactions. The last time she was in the store, she picked up a Nemo Spy Drone valued at $59.99 and placed it out of sight of the store clerk. When she left the store, she slipped the box containing the drone in one of her bags and left without paying for it. The suspect was recorded by the store’s surveillance system.

Anyone with information on the identity of the suspect or this crime is asked to contact Detective Jacob Burger at 706-278-9085, dial 9 and enter extension 325.
