First Church Of Christ, Scientist Hosts Thanksgiving Day Service

The First Church of Christ, Scientist at 612 McCallie Ave. will host a Thanksgiving Day service at 10 a.m.

This service is an occasion for members and visitors to give thanks for the blessings in their lives.   

Highlights of the service include music and hymn singing, a reading of the presidential proclamation for Thanksgiving Day 2016, a Thanksgiving lesson from the Bible and “Science and Health with Keys to the Scriptures,” by Mary Baker Eddy.   

Following the lesson, everyone will be given the opportunity to share testimonies of healing and gratitude.
