Secret Santa Arrives Again At The North Georgia K-Mart Red Kettle With 52 $100 Bills

  • Monday, November 28, 2016
A visit from Secret Santa is timely for The Salvation Army since funds have been stretched due to the cold temperatures and opening shelter. Fifty-two one hundred dollar bills were donated on Friday at the Fort Oglethorpe K-Mart Red Kettle.

"We have been busy with cold weather shelter, Angel Tree, serving Thanksgiving Meals, and Red Kettles," said Major Robert Lyle, area commander for The Salvation Army of Greater Chattanooga. "We are so grateful for this large donation. It couldn't come at a better time."

Salvation Army still needs volunteers and monetary donations, officials said.
Donations can be made at www.csarmy.org or by calling 423-756-1023.
