Hullender Family Will Perform At Ringgold Depot Nov. 11

Harmony and musical melodies with be the theme as the Hullender Family at Sacred Sounds Fridays on Friday, Nov. 11, at 7:30 p.m. at the Ringgold Depot, Depot Street and U.S. 41.  Special appearances will be made by pianist Ryan Stinson and youth performer Kaiya Moore. 

Randall Franks, “Officer Randy Goode” from TV’s “In the Heat of the Night” will emcee. Ticket donation is $6. 

The Hullender Family will feature their unique family harmony blend combining father Jeff with his adult children Justin and Emily. 

The group's latest CD is  "He's in Control" and according to Jeff, it features new songs and some familiar classics. 

"Join us as we give praise for God's wonderful story of love through the fellowship of music and song on a day our nation honors our veterans," Jeff said. 

Jeff Hullender learned his music traveling with his singing parents — Jr. and Thelma of Ringgold. He also is a former member of the award-winning Gold City Quartet and performed with the Kingsmen and Teddy Huffam and the Gems. Emily is a Share America scholar.

Mr. Stinson is one of 23 recipients of the Pearl and Floyd Franks Scholarship, named for Franks’ late parents, and awarded by the Share America Foundation, Inc. Kaiya Moore, 15, is a singer and dancer. She has won three area talent competitions including her age category in the 2016 Ringgold Star.  

The event is a fundraiser for the Pearl and Floyd Franks Scholarship Fund. The Share America Foundation, Inc., a Georgia non-profit, presents scholarships to talented musicians who excel in the Appalachian musical arts.
