Richette Smith
Richette Myta Smith, 63, passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2016, at Hospice of Chattanooga.
She was a graduate of Howard High School. She was formerly employed with Olan Mills/Lifetouch for 26 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Mattie B. Smith and sister, Charlotte Simms.
Survivors include her sisters, Maryam (Yusuf) Saleem, Washington, DC; Wanda Watson, Jerrilyn Smith, Paulette Dunson, Gwendolyn (Ray) Bonner, Tijuana Smith, all of Chattanooga, TN; Valerie (Jose’) Sanchez, of Desoto, TX; brothers, Danny (Paula) Smith, West Virginia; Eric (Verneeda) Smith, Clarksville, TN; brother-in-law, Phil Simms, of Maryland; long-time friend, Bryant “Sonny” Blackmon, Chattanooga, TN; host of nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins and friends.
The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 19, in the chapel. Interment will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.
The body will lie in state from 9 a.m. until time of service, Monday, at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
