Betty Capehart
Betty Capehart of Flat Top Mountain died peacefully at her home in Soddy Daisy on Wednesday, November 30 2016.
She was retired from J. W. Bary and was of the Baptist faith. She was a member of the Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by husbands, Eugene “Tooney” Fox and Horace Capehart; her parents, John Henry and Ida Ford; brothers, Marvin and Gordon Ford; and sister, Willie Francis Parks.
Survivors include her sisters, Louvinia Wilson and Leona Perkins of Soddy Daisy, Lucille Sutherland and Dorothy Johnson of Dunlap; her children, Rozella Wilson, Gloria (Mike) Capps, Janice (Gene) Welch, Ricky (Debbie) Fox, all presiding in Soddy Daisy; along with, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of Ademysis Hospice, Dr. Randy Heiser, nurses, Olivia Goulette, Katrice Cox, assistant Misty Rice and Chaplain Ricky Vaughn.
Services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 3, at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Reverend Mark Harwood and Reverend Gene Welch presiding; interment to follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens in Hixson.
The family will receive friends and loved ones from 4-9 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 2, at the funeral home.
