Charles E. “Eddie” Knight, 70, of Chattanooga, died on Wednesday, November 30, 2016.
He was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church. Charles worked for Singer Cobble Company for 20 years and then in sales for Lee Smith and Pye Motors.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Emma Jean Knight and granddaughter, Sarah Ashley Bailey.
Survivors include his daughter, Velvet Knight-Leete, and her husband, Richard Leete; former wife, Martha Maples Knight; grandson, Benjamin Bailey; nieces, Anna Maples Vaught and Eva Maples and great-niece Laurel Vaught.
Services will be on Saturday, Dec. 3, at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Danny Pinter officiating and grandson, Benjamin Bailey presenting the eulogy. Burial will follow at Lakewood South Memory Gardens.
Visitation is on Friday, from 4-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
