Curtis “Blake” Fowler, 26, of Jasper, Tennessee, died on Monday, December 5, 2016.
Born Feb. 14, 1990, he was a graduate of Marion County High School, where he excelled in baseball. He attended Chattanooga State Community College, was an avid sportsman and loved Clemson football. He was a member of Mineral Springs Baptist Church.
Blake was preceded in death by his grandparents, Calvin and Michiko Fuller, and cousin, Chris Weindrop.
He is survived by his mother, Frances “Dump” Fuller; father, Jim (Amy) Fowler; siblings, Hunter, Addie and Will Fowler; grandparents, Ray and Joyce Fowler; uncles, Mike Fowler, Ray (Meredith) Fowler and Jeff Fowler; aunts, Kelli Flegal, Doris (Eddie) Rogers, Cat Sagahon, and Betty “Boo” (Terry) Coffelt; great-aunt, Kim (Pat) Weindrop; and several cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Central time on Thursday, Dec. 8, 2016,at the Jasper Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home with Thomas Long officiating. Interment will follow at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday, Dec. 7, from 4-9 p.m. Central time at the funeral home.
