Associates Jordan K. Carpenter And Erin Gomez Join Carr Allison

Carr Allison announces two associates, Jordan K. Carpenter and Erin Gomez, have joined their Chattanooga office.

Mr. Carpenter’s practice areas include premises liability, insurance, professional liability, and construction.   He earned his bachelor’s degree in environmental science from the University of Alabama and his law degree from Vermont Law School. While at the University of Alabama, Mr. Carpenter was president of the Campus Veterans Association and a member of the Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society.

At Vermont Law School, he was a staff member for the Vermont Law Review and served as a senator in the Student Bar Association. Mr. Carpenter is admitted to practice in Tennessee.  Before becoming an attorney, he spent six years as a psychological operations specialist in the United States Army. He deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan with the 9th Psychological Operations Battalion (Airborne).   

Ms. Gomez will focus her practice on commercial transportation, premises liability, professional liability, and labor and employment litigation.  She received a BA in Spanish and international studies from Maryville College, in Maryville, Tn.  She earned her juris doctor from Emory University School of Law, where she served as an editor of the Emory International Law Review, a student member of the Emory International Humanitarian Law Clinic, and president of Emory Immigration Law Practice Society. While in law school, Ms. Gomez interned with the U.S. Department of Justice, the U.S. Department of Labor, and The Coca-Cola Company.
