Uninsured Chattanoogans Urged To Attend Enrollment Workshops Friday And Saturday

  • Wednesday, December 7, 2016

This weekend, the lead navigator for the Get Covered Tennessee Coalition will facilitate two ACA Enrollment Workshops, which will provide general education and info about ACA enrollment in the healthcare exchanges and address any questions that members of the community have regarding ACA enrollment. Chattanoogans who are uninsured or under-insured are urged to take advantage of these free workshops to understand enrollment in the ACA healthcare exchanges.

One out of every 12 Americans is currently living without health insurance. Through each state’s Health Insurance Marketplace, millions of Americans can gain access to health insurance.

The workshops will be held Friday from 6-7:30 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the Development Resource Center, 1250 Market St.

Participants need to attend one workshop. There is no need to attend both days. Enrollment for the ACA healthcare exchanges is open through Jan. 31.

The workshops are free and open to the public.  For more information call 622-0974.
