Douglas, Dolores Gobble (Cleveland)

Dolores Gobble Douglas, 84, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away Monday, December 5, 2016 at her residence. 

She retired as the secretary for Mayfield Elementary after 34 years of service.  She was a member of Central church of Christ.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Lewis and Aline Trotter Gobble; and her precious grandson, Cody Smith.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Harry Douglas; children, Lisa Douglas Smith and husband, Tucker and Stephen Douglas and wife, Jacqueline, all of Cleveland; three grandchildren, Kaley Smith of Cleveland, Michael Ellis of Knoxville and Brent Douglas and wife, Ana of Seattle, WA; four great-grandchildren; brother, Ted Gobble and wife, Judy of Cleveland; and four nephews, Tim, Tony, Tyler and Taylor Gobble, all of Cleveland.

The service will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 9 in the chapel of Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home with her brother, Ted Gobble and Minister Ryan Ary officiating. 

Her family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home prior to the service.

The family requests that memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN  38105.

Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home have charge of the arrangements.
