Lenell Hardy, Sr., 68, died on December 1, 2016 at a local health care facility.
He attended Riverside High School and was an employee at Chattanooga Hardwood Company.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Hardy and Beatrice Buckley; and son, DeCarlos Deloney.
Survivors include his devoted wife, Ethel Hardy; children, Lenita Hardy, Yolanda Hardy, Luster Deloney, Jr., Lenell Hardy, Jr., Corey (Gail) Hardy, Christopher Deloney, Terell (Kevin) Dollmont, Depriest Deloney, LaShonda Smith, Shaunell Hardy, all of Chattanooga; brother, Michael (Rachel) Buckely, Atlanta; sister, Brenda (Gary) Dave; sisters-in-law, Reba McCroskey; brother-in-law, all of Chattanooga; and George McCroskey, Huntsville; 36 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10, in the chapel. Interment will be in Highland Cemetery. Visitation will be held from noon until the time of service.
