Jackson – The West Tennessee All-Star Football Game features the best from West Tennessee high schools as they face off 7 p.m. CT at Liberty Technology Magnet High School.

Knoxville – Celebrate songwriter Arthur Q. Smith with a marker dedication and entertainment beginning 4 p.m. ET at the Emporium.

Dec. 9-10

Counce – Christmas in the Park is a holiday tradition with more than 100,000 glowing bulbs and hundreds of animated figures. The event is free but donations are accepted 6-9 p.m. CTat Pickwick Landing State Park. For more information, call 731-925-2363.
