CHI Memorial received a Silver Award for exemplary work in the 2016 CardioVascular Advertising Awards (CVAA) program. The CVAA is the nation’s premier advertising awards program that exclusively recognizes outstanding quality for healthcare marketing in the cardiac and vascular sectors.
Cardiovascular disease is the leading global cause of death, according to the American Heart Association. It accounts for more than 17.3 million deaths per year. That number is expected to grow to more than 23.6 million by 2030.
“Cardiovascular disease touches so many in our community. As healthcare marketing professionals, we are honored by this recognition of the hard work and dedication our team does to make sure our community knows all we are doing to diagnose and treat both cardiac and vascular diseases,” said Lisa McCluskey, vice president, marketing and communications, CHI Memorial.
“As the leader in cardiac care in the Chattanooga region, CHI Memorial is committed to providing a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach that optimizes care and improves patient outcomes as we continue the fight against cardiovascular disease.”
“It was a privilege to have CHI Memorial participate in this elite and prestigious awards program. CHI Memorial exceeded all expectations for quality and excellence in CardioVascular Communications this year,” said Melinda Lucas, CVAA program coordinator.
All entries in the CVA Awards were reviewed and judged by a diverse panel of healthcare marketing experts. A silver award is only given to the top 12% of entries nationwide.
