Dillard Eugene Sneed, Jr. 66, of Etowah, Tennessee, died on Wednesday, December 7, 2016, at his home.
Born on July 8, 1950 in Greenback, TN to the late Gene Sneed and Lorene Sneed Webb, he spent the majority of his life in McMinn County and was Pastor of Holy Trinity Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Loretta Jean Sneed and Cathy Lynn Sneed Moore; and a brother, Jimmy Ray Sneed.
Survivors include his loving wife of 28 years, Patricia “Pat” Sneed; and two sons, David Melson of Etowah and Shannon Sneed of Lakeland, FL; sister and brother-in-law, Margaret and Darrell Mashburn; brother, Roy Sneed; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, extended family members and sisters and brothers in Christ.
A Celebration of Life and Home going for Reverend Sneed will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 11 from the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in the Coghill Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home prior to the service.
