Man Indicted In False Report Of Bear Attack

Michael Savage, 27, of LaFollette has been indicted by the Campbell County Grand Jury on charges of felonious report to an officer following a claim he made that past September that he was attacked by a large animal while walking along the road in the White Bridge area near LaFollette.

He was arrested last week by the Lafollette Police Department on separate charges and is being held on a $30,000 bond until his court date on Feb. 8 at 8:30 a.m.
