There will be a speed networking luncheon at the Walker County Civic Center at 11:45 a.m. on Feb. 23. The event is sponsored by The Meeting Company, with special guest and emcee (and Walker County resident) Kim Carson from Sunny 92.3 FM.
"Attendees have the opportunity to network face-to-face with each guest, exchanging business cards and information about their respective businesses to gain valuable contacts within the local community," organizers said. "Do you love pizza, salad and homemade ice cream? Well, you are in for a treat.
Lunch will be catered by our newest member, Bob's Brick Oven Pizza and it is delicious.

Guests are asked to arrive at 11:30 a.m. if you plan to have your photo taken. Also, to bring business cards, brochures or other materials to distribute during the networking session.
The cost to attend is $15 for members and $20 for non-rmembers Those wishing to attend must register online by visiting

Non-Chamber members are required to pay by Visa or MasterCard at the time of registration. Due to space constraints there is a limit of 120 attendees at this event.
