Hixson residents David Leatherwood and June Cooper received community awards at the Friends of Hixson Community Breakfast last Wednesday.  

Mr. Leatherwood was awarded a Community Impact Award for his leadership in the Hixson community Food City.

Ms. Cooper was awarded a Community Impact Award for her leadership in the Hixson community.
