The Youth Success Academy of Georgia Northwestern Technical College and the North West Georgia Regional Commission are offering short-term training certifications in a variety of career fields.  The programs are being offered at several locations across the region.

Training sessions in the following programs are free through the Youth Success Academy, if you qualify.  Administrative Professional Training Level 1&2, Fast Track Certified Logistics Technician, Fast Track Industrial, Maintenance Level 1, Gas Arc Welding (MIG), Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (TIG), and Serv Safe Training.

“Current classes scheduled immediately are in Gas Tungsten Arc Welding and Certified Logistics Associate,” said GNTC Youth Success Academy Specialist Tammy Pence.
“If a student qualifies, these programs, which last just 40 hours, can possibly be taken at no cost at all.”

To see if you qualify, contact the Youth Success Academy at 706-764-3783. You can also e-mail to callmon@gntc.edu for information on the programs.
