Chattanooga Native Mercedes Ringer Appears In OWN Movie Greenleaf

  • Tuesday, February 2, 2016

Mercedes Ringer, a Chattanooga native, will be acting in the upcoming drama “Greenleaf” on OWN.

A set of producers, including Oprah Winfrey herself, are creating a sprawling megachurch drama called “Greenleaf” that is scheduled to begin production in Atlanta next month.

Although Atlanta has its share of megachurches, the show will fictionally be set in Memphis instead.

The show is set to air sometime this year.
