East Ridge Football Coach Resigns After Classroom Altercation While He Was Away

East Ridge High School football coach Tracy Malone, who led the Pioneers to a 12-1 record this season, has abruptly resigned.

The resignation came after there was a classroom altercation at a time when he was due to be in the class.

The incident was investigated, but did not rise to the level of charges being filed.
