Jewell Morgan
Jewell Morgan, 77, of Chattanooga, died on Wednesday, February 24, 2016.
Jewell was born in Franklin County, Tn., and raised in Coffee County, Tn. She was a member of Tiftonia Church of Christ. Jewell was a dedicated homemaker helping to raise three children. She enjoyed traveling, her grandchildren, and excelled at cooking.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Morgan; parents, Pearline and James Durham, Sr.; and brothers, James H. Durham, Jr. and David Durham.
Surviving are her children, Michael (Betty) Morgan of Wilmington, NC, Patricia (David) Hardy of Chattanooga and Mark (Kristy) Morgan of Florence, SC; grandchildren, Robert Morgan, Tiffany Hardy, Heather Mahaffey, Blake Morgan, Rachel Morgan, Jonathan (Whitney) Hardy, Sidney Morgan and Brett Redmon; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Bettye (Ken) Nutt of Tullahoma, TN and Sue (Jim) Goodwin of Lynchburg, Tn.; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, and 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 26, at the funeral home with Minister George Cupp officiating.
Burial will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens West.
