City Plans 5-Million Gallon Wet Weather Storage Facility On Mercer Street

 The city of Chattanooga plans to procure 6.2 acres from BlueCross BlueShield for the construction of a 5-million gallon wet weather storage facility.

The site is on Mercer Street adjacent to a city pump station.

The site is accessed from Elm Street located between Atlanta Drive and Memphis Drive.

It sits at a low point in the surrounding neighborhood.
