Mike Little Is The Most Principled Man I Know

  • Friday, February 5, 2016

For 30 years I have known Mike Little as an employer, a counselor, a mentor and a friend. I have witnessed his responses to difficult situations including saving the life of 14 year old that almost drowned in a hotel pool. I have always been impressed by his ability to see the other side of a conflict. He possesses a wisdom not found in most people. I have seen him make some hard decisions.

Mike’s experience in dealing with people goes back more than 30 years. When I first met Mike he was the general manager of the Read House Hotel. Later he became the resident manager of the Chattanooga Choo-Choo. 25 years ago Mike changed his direction from hotel administrator to pursuing a law degree. He put himself through night law school while working as a bailiff in Criminal Court during the day, the same court he is now seeking.

Mike has practiced law for 18 years. His criminal law experience is extensive including trying 50 jury trials in state and federal court. His experience is unmatched by any other candidate running for this position.During the last 16 months Mike has been the Executive Assistant in the District Public Defenders Office overseeing the legal side of that office.

In all the time I have known Mike, I have never seen him compromise his integrity. He is very patient and always willing to listen. Mike Little is the most principled man I know. Please join me in voting for Mike for Hamilton County Criminal Court Judge.
