Mohawk Industries To Hold Recruitment Fair April 12

Mohawk Industries is recruiting 35 manufacturing workers for plants in Summerville and Lyerly in Chattooga County. The company is recruiting 25 creelers and 10 material handlers.

The Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) will help the company with a recruitment on Tuesday, April 12, from 10 a.m.
to 3 p.m.
 at the Chattooga County Civic Center located at 44 Highway 48 in Summerville. GDOL staff will be on site to help screen the applicants.

Due to U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, applicants must be at least 18 years old. A high school diploma or a General Education Diploma (GED) is preferred, but not required. Also, no previous work experience is required for the jobs.

Salaries will depend on the positions.
