Grand Jury Indicts Former Hidden Harbor Subdivision Homeowner's Association President For Theft

John Brian Markee, 47, turned himself into Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office detectives on Friday, after the Hamilton County Grand Jury handed down an indictment charging him with one count of theft over $10,000.  
 
The indictment came after a five-month investigation conducted by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division. 
 
Detectives investigated an allegation that Markee, who was the president of the Hidden Harbor Home Owner’s Association, had embezzled monies from the association.
Detectives presented their findings to the Hamilton County Grand Jury who returned the indictment.
 
Markee’s bond is set at $5,000.
