Three youths fired shots at a 52-year-old man during an armed robbery on South Seminole early Saturday afternoon.
Chattanooga Police responded at 12:15 p.m. to the 100 block of South Seminole on the report of a person shot. There police located one victim with a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the ankle.
The victim, Manuel Gaspar, was doing yard work when he was approached by three black males.
The suspects demanded money from the victim. The victim complied but the suspects demanded more money.
When the victim was unable to hand over more money all three suspects fired handguns toward the victim.
The suspects left the scene in a maroon four-door Nissan Titan or Chevy Trailblazer toward East Ridge.
The suspects were described as three black males in their late teens to early 20s with slim builds.
Chattanooga Violent Crimes Bureau investigators are following all leads at this time.
