Chattanooga Gang Rampage Continues As Teen Is Shot In Leg, Hand

Chattanooga's gang rampage continued early Monday morning when a teen was shot in the leg and hand.

Three others were shot over the weekend during a spate of gang retaliation, causing police to beef up patrols.

Police responded at 12:20 a.m. to the 4200 block of Oakwood Drive. on the report of a shooting. There police located one victim suffering from gunshot wounds.

Police located the juvenile victim on the roadway near the intersection of Oakwood Drive and Webb Road.

The victim described the suspect as being in a white truck or SUV. No further suspect information is available.

The victim was transported to a local hospital by Hamilton County EMS.

Chattanooga Violent Crimes Bureau investigators continue to follow all actionable leads.
