Habitat Board Member Ron Morris; Executive Director David Butler, new Homeowner Jenitha Hodge and her sons, Jayden and Jermiah (holding key); Ms. Hodge’s uncle, Harris Morrison & Habitat Board President Jason Farmer.
Chattanooga native Jenitha Hodge set her sights on accomplishing two goals in 2016: becoming a homeowner and earning a GED.
On Saturday, Ms. Hodge accomplished her first goal of becoming a homeowner with the support of Habitat for Humanity, the Clarence E. Harris Foundation and Habitat for Humanity of Tennessee/Tennessee Housing Development Agency.
Now, the working mother of two sons will begin studying for her GED and hopes to earn it later this year.
