East Ridge Community Center Senior Fit Dance Team, led by Instructor Pat Snowden, performed a show for residents at The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence, Collegedale. The team even got the residents up dancing and gave out door prizes to each.
As a part of the Meaningful Day program, the Life Enrichment Program at The Lantern invites local volunteers and organizations to participate in fun and engaging activities with the Alzheimer’s and memory care community.
The dance team’s goal is to develop the minds, bodies and souls of seniors by offering activities, quality education, speakers, classes and social opportunities. The group has a ministry and celebrates each season by taking little gifts to assisted living residents. The team also volunteers with many ministries throughout the Chattanooga area.
