Anuradha Bhosale
Gandhi Global Center For Peace will host a meet and greet with Anuradha Bhosale, internationally-acclaimed social activist who is being called the "Female Gandhi of India," Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Hart Gallery, 110 East Main St.
The community is invited to this meet and greet to learn more about the work Ms. Bhosale is doing rescuing brickyard children and orphans off the streets of Kolhapur, India. Ms. Bhosale is the director of AVANI School, a program partner of Gandhi Global Center For Peace. Hart Gallery will be opening their art gallery space dedicated to homeless and disenfranchised artists to celebrate the lives and work of people making a difference, near and far.
There is a suggested donation of $10 per person, however, no one will be turned away, and anything above and beyond will be appreciated as these gifts will be used to support the work of Gandhi Global Center For Peace and its program partner AVANI School.
