Geren, Rick Joe (Cleveland)

Rick Joe Geren, 60, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2016 in a local hospital.

He was an avid sports fan and he loved fishing. Rick was a craftsman and an electrician by trade. He had a deep love for animals and music.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank and Mandie Bigham and Jim and Velma Geren; father, Joe Cephas Geren; and brothers-in-law, Dennis Burns and Bobby Goodman.

Survivors include his mother, Edna Geren; sons, Skidder and Buck Geren; sisters, Ethelle Goodman and Rita Burns; brother, Joe Cephas (Judy) Geren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his bird, fish and dogs.

There will be a graveside service at 3 p.m. on Friday, April 29 in the Fort Hill Cemetery, with Pastor Kenny Isbill officiating the service.

Companion Funeral and Cremation Service has charge of the arrangements.
